Karate America Stoughton has
been a strong community presence for for over a decade.
Shannon
Greaves, Chief Instructor, Advanced Degree Black Belt in Karate and Okinawan
Kobudo. She also coaches/trains students in extreme martial arts.
|
|
Mrs. Greaves was a middle school teacher, instructor for gifted students, technology integrator and
teacher-trainer in the
Stoughton
School District &
Southern WI
area for over 15 years.
|
|
Currently, Mrs. Greaves is under the mentorship of Grandmaster Paul Harris of Green
Bay
– studying Tae Kwon Do, Okinawan Kobudo and Shorin-Ryu karate.

Clayton
Greaves worked in the IT industry in project development and
marketing for over 15 years. Clayton manages the
marketing and
development of the business and the school-sponsored karate
tournament, the Norse Warrior Karate Open.
Josh, practices Okinawan Kobudo and uses his martial arts
as a way to meet the challenges of autism.
The physical feedback Josh gets from martial arts helps him
to manage his “internal engine” and remain focused.
It also helps him play superheroes on the backyard
trampoline with his big brother Jake.

Jake,
Advanced Degree Black Belt in karate and Okinawan Kobudo, is a multi-year national
NASKA/ISKA black belt champion.
His 10-year expertise is in Extreme Martial Arts – also
called
Hong Kong
style. He is an open
hand stylist, traditional stylist, and weapons stylist.
Jake trained with
the renowned John Sharkey
Jr. and is a past
member of Matt Mullins' SideSwipe, a nationally recognized Extreme
Martial Arts performance team.
Currently,
Jake is is under the mentorship of
Grandmaster Paul Harris of Green Bay
– studying Tae Kwon Do, Okinawan Kobudo and Shorin-Ryu karate

Jake is also a “street runner” (performs acrobatic
movements and stunts in urban landscapes) and a hip hop dancer.
He is a working actor, represented by Aria Talent/Ford Model
Group. His skills have taken him all around the US
as a competitor, actor, model, dancer and performer.
