Little Dragons 4-5 yrs

Solid Belt - up to 7th Degree
Kobudo – 12 yrs and up to 5th Degree

Sparring - We use a “point sparring” format, light to no head contact.  Black Belts use moderate head contact.

Level I Sparring –no sparring to less-than-one year experience, ages 5 through 14; Level II Sparring – 1 year of sparring experience or more, or instructor invitation  

Self Defense Classes - Part of our standard curriculum or can be purchased separately on our punch card.  Please call for more information.

Technique Class (includes self-defense) BBT I & II—work on foundation skills, escape-based self defense, exploring BBT II foundation skills to enhance learning, preparation skills for BBT II BBT II & III—work on foundation skills at the jumping/turning level,  take-down based self defense, exploring BBT III foundation skills  to enhance learning, preparation skills for BBT III

BBT III & MT——work on foundation skills at the spinning/advanced level, review all underbelt self defense to control position, exploring MT foundation skills to enhance learning, preparation skills for MT

Black Belt Candidate Training—specific training to prepare for black belt test

Adult/Candidate/MT workout—endurance workout

MT Seminar—Under the guidance of Grandmaster Paul Harris, Black Belts will refine understanding of Shorin-Ryu, Tae Kwon Do styles; forms to include Koryo, Chung Mu, Niahanchi kata, Kihon Kata; Bunkai for all kata; board breaking; pressure points.

Weapons Training Kobudo Kids for students ages 5-12   
  Students may begin Kobudo training at Green belt, or by instructor consent; Adult students may request to begin Kobudo earlier, by instructor consent All Black Belts must begin Kobudo training as a requirement of the Masters Team program
Karate Gymnastics Introduction to blocking, mounting, vaulting and tumbling techniques and skills that apply to martial arts movement.  Students of all ages and belt levels are welcome.  
Introduction/training
in Extreme Martial Arts
Introduction to Extreme Martial Arts ("Hong Kong Style") - including plyometric & flexibility training, specific forms & drills, and explosive combos. 

Students of all ages and belt levels are welcome.  If student has no previous tumbling experience, they are strongly encouraged to enroll in karate gymnastics to support this training. 

Instructor evaluation is required prior to signing up for this training time to assess suitability of program for student.

Students wishing to compete in this martial arts performance style will need to sign up for additional one-on-one lessons if they wish to have a strong competitive (or musical) form.  Please contact Mrs. Greaves for more info.  Advanced training in complex inverted and rotational moves (corkscrew, butterfly twist, sideswipe, etc.) may also require one-on-one training sessions.  Prior assessment by instructor is required.
