Let Karate America introduce your 4-5 yr old to martial arts readiness!

Little Dragons incorporates self-respect, respect for others, martial arts character-building, with focus-building and teamwork in karate activities and games. 

Curricular activities are presented in modules with 8 rotating weekly themes.  Little Dragons learn basic kicking and hand techniques, combos, age-appropriate self defense, how to show respect to themselves and others, and how to "focus your eyes, focus your mind, focus your body, ma'am/sir!"

A traditional class format is used, but is modified to include a pace more suited to 4-5 year olds.

 Our Little Dragon program takes approximately 16 months to complete.  Belt ranks include the following.

Classes Available

We recommend Little Dragons attend at least two times per week.  Our flexible schedule allows you to choose classes that fit your schedule.

Next Steps

Four-year olds can start as Little Dragons and move to KinderKickers class once they turn 6, if parents and instructor feel it is appropriate.

Extra Curricular

Extra-curricular activities for Little Dragons include:

PATH of Success Practice Program - Students can participate in recording practice time at home, and receive awards for each monthly card completed.  There are special guidelines for Little Dragons.

Private Lessons - Students are welcome to schedule individual lesson time with one of our qualified instructors (Any level, all ages)

Competition Team - Group training and participation in local, regional, national and international martial arts tournaments (Any level, all ages)

Demo Team - By Instructor invitation, all students are eligible to join Demo Team.
